“When I was a boy growing up in a small farming community in Jamaica, my grandmother used to brew the most amazing tasting coffee. Coming from a family of coffee farmers. There was a natural appreciation for the aromatic warmth of grandma’s coffee. Neighbours going to their fields in the mornings would drop by to say hello. There would always be a pot of coffee on the fire, of which they never refused to have a cup or two.
My mother said that grandfather would drink no other hot beverage than coffee which he grew on the cool, hilly slopes of his mountain farm in St. Catherine. This love of good coffee is a tradition that I have grown to appreciate, and hopefully you will too”.

Trevor Price studied graphic design alongside founder Mike, who specialised in fine art. After pursuing separate careers, they reunited over a decade later. Mike as a successful chef and restaurateur serving premium Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. A lifelong coffee enthusiast, Trevor was immediately drawn to the smooth, rich quality of the blend, especially enjoyed black.
‘I drink my coffee black so base my preference on this. The coffee was so smooth without milk I fell in love instantly.’
Felix Mgbadiefe brings a dynamic and holistic background to his role as Director of Realcoffeeshop. With experience spanning music production and DJing, personal training, counselling, life coaching, and wellbeing advocacy, Felix brings a unique blend of creativity, empathy, and vision to the company.
Felix’s relationship with co-founders Trevor and Mike is rooted in lifelong trust and shared values. Having grown up alongside Trevor, their bond goes beyond friendship, it’s family.
While Felix met Mike through Trevor, their connection quickly deepened into a genuine partnership that extends beyond business.
